Alina and Leo’s film engagement session with their beagle Pixel took place at Leuty Lifeguard Station in Toronto’s Beaches neighbourhood. The calm, overcast April afternoon created soft natural light and beautiful Kodak Portra 400 tones, giving the photographs a timeless, analogue feeling.
Pixel brought plenty of playful energy and personality to the session, while Alina and Leo’s matching coats and relaxed connection made every moment feel warm and effortless. We photographed them along the pebbled shoreline, beside the lake, and around the station’s distinctive architecture. The final gallery feels personal, nostalgic, and quietly romantic, capturing an easy afternoon together in one of Toronto’s most recognisable waterfront locations.
