Celine and Albert’s engagement photoshoot at the beautiful Parkwood Estate was everything they wanted it to be — light, sweet, romantic and full of genuine emotion. Their connection is so natural that it never felt like we needed to create moments for the camera. With just a little guidance, they made the session completely their own: walking hand in hand, laughing together, dancing across the lawns, holding each other close and simply enjoying the time before their wedding.
Parkwood Estate gave us an incredible variety of backgrounds for their gallery. We moved from the grand architecture and stone columns to ivy-covered walls, flower gardens, fountains, terraces and wide green lawns, allowing the photographs to shift naturally between elegant portraits and playful, candid moments. There was no rush and no need for heavy posing — just beautiful light, movement and two people who are obviously very happy together. As a Toronto Engagement Photographer, this is exactly what I love about engagement sessions: creating space for couples to relax enough that the photographs begin to feel like them rather than a photoshoot.
This engagement session feels like such a beautiful beginning to Celine and Albert’s wedding story, and I already cannot wait to photograph the next chapter. Their wedding will take place later this year at Stone Eagle Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, with the celebration planned and designed by the talented Enaya Rabba Events. After seeing how effortless these two are together in front of the camera, I have a feeling their wedding gallery is going to be something very special.
