Cassie and Gabriel’s engagement photoshoot took place on June 3, 2026, in the city they call home: downtown Toronto.
Because they live downtown, we wanted their session to feel personal and connected to the places that already mean something to them. Instead of choosing a location only because it looked beautiful, we planned the shoot around familiar streets, meaningful city views, and the downtown atmosphere they love.
We started near St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, continued around Union Station, and finished in the Financial District. Their gallery became a mix of romantic couple portraits, historic architecture, modern glass towers, downtown streets, CN Tower views, and quiet moments in the middle of the city.
Cassie and Gabriel were an absolute joy to photograph. They are loving, caring, playful, and completely natural together. Their connection shows in every photo.

As a Toronto Photographer, we always love when a couple chooses a location that feels personal. For Cassie and Gabriel, downtown Toronto was not just a background. It was part of their story.
The city gave us so much variety in one engagement photoshoot: soft romantic portraits near the church, elegant images framed by stone architecture, and a more modern downtown feeling near Union Station and the Financial District.
Some of the most beautiful moments happened naturally while they were walking, holding hands, laughing, and simply enjoying being together. The city was moving around them, but they had their own quiet world in the middle of it.

The first part of the session took place near St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Toronto.
This location gave us warm stone textures, historic architecture, large wooden doors, and beautiful shaded areas for portraits. Cassie’s white dress and Gabriel’s classic white shirt and dark trousers looked timeless against the church facade.
We photographed them sitting together on the steps, walking hand in hand, embracing, laughing, and sharing quiet moments. This part of the session felt romantic, elegant, and slightly cinematic, while still staying natural and relaxed.

After St. Andrew’s Church, we continued the engagement photoshoot near Union Station and then moved into the Financial District.
This part of the session felt more urban and modern. We used the bright light, glass buildings, city streets, and CN Tower views to create portraits that feel very Toronto.
Around Union Station, the movement of the city became part of the photos. People were crossing the streets, cars were passing by, and Cassie and Gabriel were walking through it all together.
In the Financial District, we created more polished urban portraits with clean lines, modern buildings, and a downtown skyline feel. We also photographed them near SixtyEight Event Space, their future wedding venue, which made this engagement session feel connected to the wedding day they are planning for July 2027.

We usually do not offer video for engagement sessions, but for Cassie and Gabriel we had a special idea.
Since we will also be capturing their wedding in July 2027, we thought it would be meaningful to include a little bit of their engagement footage in their final wedding video. It adds another chapter to their story: not only the wedding day itself, but also this beautiful season before the wedding.
So Vladimir joined us for the session, and we worked together as a photo and video team. It is always fun creating together, especially with a couple who is so warm, easygoing, and natural in front of the camera.

Cassie and Gabriel, thank you for such a beautiful afternoon in downtown Toronto.
You made this engagement photoshoot feel effortless. Your kindness, your laughter, and the way you care for each other made every photo feel honest and full of warmth.
We are so excited for your wedding in July 2027 and cannot wait to continue telling your story through photography and video.
