Maryanna and Hayden’s engagement photoshoot at the University of Toronto was a beautiful, sunny spring session filled with soft light, blooming trees, historic architecture, and many natural moments between them. For Maryanna, this location was especially meaningful, as she is a UofT alumna, so choosing the campus for their engagement photos felt personal and connected to her own story.

The weather had been unpredictable that week, but on the day of the photoshoot, Toronto gave us a warm and bright afternoon. The University of Toronto campus looked absolutely stunning in full bloom, with fresh greenery, pink blossoms, stone buildings, quiet courtyards, and elegant arches creating a romantic and timeless atmosphere.

A Romantic Spring Session on the UofT Campus

As a Toronto Photographer, I always love when couples choose a location that already means something to them. It makes the session feel more honest, relaxed, and personal. For Maryanna and Hayden, the University of Toronto was not just a beautiful backdrop. It was a place with memories, character, and a strong connection to Maryanna’s life.

We walked through the campus, using its historic architecture, archways, stone walls, gardens, and spring blossoms as a natural setting for their portraits. The soft afternoon light made everything feel bright and airy, while the old buildings added a classic and elegant feeling to the photographs.

Natural, Easy-Going Engagement Photos

Maryanna and Hayden were a little shy at first, which is completely normal at the beginning of a photoshoot. But very quickly, they relaxed, started laughing, talking, holding hands, and simply enjoying the afternoon together. That easy-going energy became the heart of their engagement session.

Some of the most beautiful photos came from the small, natural moments: walking together through campus, smiling under the blooming trees, sitting by the arches, sharing quiet embraces, and laughing in the sunlight. Their gallery feels gentle, romantic, and true to who they are as a couple.
