This October, Toronto became the stage for an extraordinary floral experience — the Aulling Atelier Flower Masterclass, led by renowned Korean floral designer Da Yoon Jung. The three-day workshop, hosted by The Flower 597 and Party with Chloe, brought together 17 florists and creatives from Canada, the U.S., and the U.K., each united by their shared passion for flowers and design.
Held inside the beautiful Archive Studios, the masterclass offered a serene, light-filled space that perfectly complemented the natural textures and soft hues of every arrangement. Over three immersive days, participants created an inspiring series of floral pieces — from delicate bouquets and centerpieces to grounded and chair arrangements, and culminating in breathtaking arches and aisle installations.
Each day was filled with artistry, collaboration, and an atmosphere of quiet inspiration — a true exchange of culture, craft, and emotion between Korea and Canada.
From the early morning setup to the final bridal photoshoot, every moment of the Aulling Atelier Masterclass was rich with beauty and intention. Participants explored color theory, movement, and the balance of form while bringing their unique personalities into each composition.
As the photographer documenting this event, I witnessed how creativity unfolded naturally: the joy of discovery, the focus in each hand placing a stem, and the collective awe when every design came to life. The final results were nothing short of magical — poetic, architectural, and full of soul.
The closing day featured an editorial bridal shoot with model Anna Zemilianaia, where the florals truly became art installations. Surrounded by vibrant color palettes — from romantic garden pastels to bold yellow and magenta contrasts — every arrangement reflected the timeless elegance and innovation of Da Yoon Jung’s teaching philosophy.
This unforgettable experience was made possible by a dream team of creators and collaborators who share a passion for beauty and craft:
