Tejal and Shiv are getting married in India, but they wanted a simple and romantic engagement photoshoot close to Toronto before the big celebrations. Parkwood Estate, just outside Toronto, was a perfect choice: classic architecture, green lawns, fountains and that soft, bright Toronto light.

At the beginning they were a little shy in front of the camera, like most couples in Toronto. After a short walk and some chatting about their early days together, they relaxed, laughed, hugged and simply enjoyed each other’s company. Their connection quickly turned into natural, candid engagement photos that feel warm, joyful and very true to who they are.

Why Parkwood Estate works so well for engagement photos

Parkwood Estate offers everything a Toronto engagement photographer loves: tree-lined paths, historic stone terraces, quiet corners and long garden views. We moved between the front of the estate, the pathways and the fountains, using the late-afternoon Toronto sun to create soft, glowing portraits.

There is a mix of wide shots that show the atmosphere of this Toronto location and close portraits that highlight Tejal’s gentle smile and Shiv’s calm presence. We also photographed them walking hand in hand along the garden paths, framed by hedges and flowers, which gives their Toronto engagement gallery a sense of movement and story.
