On July 22, 2025, I had the joy of capturing Rachel and Andy’s wedding portraits at one of my favorite photo locations in Toronto — the iconic RC Harris Water Treatment Plant. Known for its grand architecture and dreamy light, it’s a perfect setting for timeless wedding photography in the GTA.
Earlier that day, Rachel and Andy had a small and intimate private wedding ceremony. For their photoshoot, they brought along their closest family members — and their beautiful newborn daughter. Photographing this couple as new parents on their wedding day added an extra layer of tenderness and emotional depth to each frame. There’s something incredibly special about wedding portraits that also capture the beginning of a new chapter as a family.
Despite the shoot being short and sweet, we made the most of every moment. The golden summer light, the sweeping lake views, and the calm elegance of the RC Harris building created a magical atmosphere. Rachel and Andy were radiant together — laughing, holding hands, and soaking in every second.
If you’re dreaming of wedding photos that are both elegant and full of character, the RC Harris Water Treatment Plant is a hidden gem in Toronto. It offers clean architectural lines, lakefront views, and wide open spaces that photograph beautifully in any season.
