The session started just before golden hour, when the light was soft and flattering — perfect for romantic portraits. A Stroll by the Lake — Capturing Connection and Joy

Some of the most memorable images from this engagement session came from our walk along the lakefront. The blue tones of Lake Ontario contrasted perfectly with the neutral outfits and bright sky, creating stunning visual harmony. Whether holding hands or dancing barefoot in the grass, Laura and Cole brought genuine joy to every frame.

We ended the session with a cozy picnic-style setup on the hill, complete with a bouquet of tulips that added a pop of colour to the soft pastel palette. The blanket, the laughter, and the golden light gave the photos a timeless, editorial feel — a blend of fine art engagement photography and documentary storytelling.
